Devil Without a Cause is the fourth studio album by the American musician Kid Rock . It was released on August 18, 1998. It is the successor to the Early Morning Stoned Pimp released in 1996 and is considered the musician's most successful.
useful information
Kid Rock wrote the lyrics to the songs together with the members of his band and with Uncle Kracker , who had already started his solo career at this point. It is the last Kid Rock album to be classified more in hip hop than rock . Most of the pieces are a mix of these two genres. However, there are also some pure hip-hop pieces on the album, e.g. B. the title song Welcome 2 the Party . Allmusic.com rated the album as a " Rap-Rock Masterpiece" . Devil Without a Cause is Kid Rock's most successful album. In the USA alone it was sold around 11 million times.
