The Hunger for More ( English for " hungry for more ") is the debut album of American rapper Lloyd Banks . It was released on June 29, 2004 on the G-Unit Records and Interscope labels as a standard and special edition.

Lloyd Banks' label bosses 50 Cent and Sha Money XL acted as executive producers on the album . The rapper and music producer Eminem produced two songs on the album and co-produced one alongside Kwamé. Other beats come from Timbaland , Havoc , Hi-Tek , Danja , Ron Browz, Thayod Ausar, Scram Jones, Chad Beat, Greg Doby, Black Jeruz, Baby Grand and The Diaz Brothers. In addition, the instrumentals of the bonus songs were contributed by Tone Capone and J-Hen.
Cover design
The album cover of the standard edition shows Lloyd Banks standing in a shabby area and looking to the right from the viewer. Guest Posts
In addition to Lloyd Banks, other artists are represented on eight songs on the album. Singer Nate Dogg is involved in the songs Til the End and Warrior Part 2 , the latter also featuring rappers Eminem and 50 Cent . 50 Cent appears next to Snoop Dogg on I Get High . The track Ain't No Click is a collaboration with G-Unit member Tony Yayo , and singer Kevin Cossom has a guest appearance on Karma . Lloyd Banks also works with rapper The Game on When the Chips Are Down , while G-Unit member Young Buck supports him on Work Magic . Furthermore, DJ Whoo Kid has a guest post on the song Playboy .

The Hunger for More entered the German album charts at number 57 on August 16, 2004 and reached the highest position the following week at number 45. In total, it stayed in the top 100 for six weeks. In the United States, the album topped the charts for two weeks and stayed in the top 200 for a total of 36 weeks. The Hunger for More reached # 15 in the United Kingdom and # 65 in Switzerland.
As singles , the songs were On Fire , I'm So Fly and Karma decoupled.
Sales figures and awards
The Hunger for More was awarded a platinum record in the United States for over one million units sold in the year of its release . In the UK, the album earned a gold record for over 100,000 sales in 2016 . In addition, the first single On Fire in the US was awarded gold for over 500,000 copies sold.

Stefan Johannesberg from the website laut.de rated the album with four out of a possible five points. Lloyd Banks doesn't come across as “as real” as his mentor 50 Cent and shouldn't orientate himself too much on him, but his flow is “absolutely world class.” The productions are also consistently praised.
