János Kelen

János Kelen (born February 11, 1911 in Budapest ; † October 13, 1991 ibid.) Was a Hungarian long-distance runner .

In 1934 he was sixth over 5000 m at the European Athletics Championships in Turin .

At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, he was eliminated over 5000 m in the preliminary run and came in twelfth place over 10,000 m .

In 1938 he was sixth over 10,000 m at the European Championships in Paris .

From 1951 to 1956 he was President of the Hungarian Athletics Federation.
