The 2003 MTV Movie Awards were presented on May 31, 2003 in Los Angeles , California by the MTV music network . The evening's moderators were actor Seann William Scott and singer and actor Justin Timberlake . Musical performances were given by the Russian band tATu , the rapper 50 Cent and the singer Pink .

With a total of four awards, the film The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was the big winner of the evening.
