Party Animals - It doesn't get any wilder! (Original title: National Lampoon's Van Wilder ) is a US-American-German student film comedy from the year 2002 by director Walt Becker and with a running time of 93 minutes.

action

Van Wilder is in his 7th year of college and is a well known and very popular student. Instead of working on his degree, he throws parties, charity events, and helps many students with their college life problems. When his father is no longer willing to pay the tuition fees, Van has to look for a new source of money.

At the same time, Gwen Pearson was commissioned to write an article about Van Wilder. He interprets the conversations with Gwen as a romantic rapprochement. As a result, he draws the resentment of Gwen's friend Richard, which develops into a guerrilla war between the two. Eventually Richard manages to accuse Van of a crime, which is why Van is to be expelled from college immediately. Due to his popularity, however, Van succeeds in taking the (few) missing courses for his degree.

Reviews

"Teenage comedy without style and independence, which falls below any level of taste and paints an image of women that was long believed to have been overcome."
