MTV Movie Awards 2008
The 2008 MTV Movie Awards were held at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City on June 1 . Mike Myers led the event for the first time . Adam Sandler won the MTV Generations Award. The day before the award ceremony, a fire broke out about 500 m away on the exhibition and experience area, but the MTV Movie Awards were not affected and took place as usual.
