Briana Evigan
Briana Barbara-Jane Evigan (born October 23, 1986 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress and dancer .
Life
The daughter of actor Greg Evigan and Pamela Serpe, who was also an occasional actress in the 1970s, first appeared in front of the camera in 1996 in the horror thriller House of the Damned at her father's side. In 2003 she starred in the main storyline of the music video for Linkin Park's single Numb . In 2004 she had a small role in the short film Something Sweet , another in 2006 in the comedy Bottoms Up with Paris Hilton .
The breakthrough of the trained dancer as an actress marked the lead role in the dance film Step Up to the Streets in 2008 , a loose sequel to the successful film Step Up from 2006 with Channing Tatum . The critic James Berardinelli described the "fit and attractive" Briana Evigan with her dancing performance as sufficient reason to recommend the film. Step Up to the Streets achieved “impressive” sales figures at the US theatrical release in February 2008 and performed as well as its 2006 predecessor.
Her older sister Vanessa Lee Evigan is also an actress.
