Robert James Hoffman III (born September 21, 1980 in Gainesville , Florida ) is an American dancer , actor and choreographer .

Life

Hoffman is the son of Charlotte and Robert Hoffman II. When he was seven, he and his family moved to Madison , Alabama . He attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts , and in 2003 got his first role in an episode of the American Dreamz television series . He has had roles as a dancer in several films such as From Justin to Kelly , Dirty Dancing 2 , Coach Carter and Street Style , for which he received the American Choreographer Award . He has already worked as a dancer with Christina Aguilera , Usher , Mýa , Marilyn Manson , Ricky Martin and Svetlana .

Hoffman appeared in the TV show quintuplets and was a member of the Fox drama Vanished . He played his first big role in 2006 in She's the Man - Voll mein Typ! , with Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum . He was a member of MTV 's Wild 'N Out and appeared as a guest on America's Next Top Model . In the film Step Up to the Streets he played the dancer Chase Collins. In October 2009 the film " The Noobs - Small But Mean " was released in the cinemas, in which he played alongside high school musical star Ashley Tisdale.
