Chris Tucker
Christopher "Chris" Tucker (born August 31, 1971 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American film actor and comedian .
Live and act
In the USA he had his breakthrough as Ice Cube's constantly stoned " homie " named Smokey in the comedy Friday , the first part of the Friday trilogy. Despite the success of his role, he was no longer available for the two sequels Next Friday and Friday After Next (he was replaced by popular Afro-American actor Mike Epps ).
In 1997, he first caused a sensation in German-speaking countries as penetrating, ludicrous radio presenter Ruby Rhod in Luc Besson's science fiction film The Fifth Element alongside action hero Bruce Willis .
The three rush hour films in which he played the second leading role alongside Hong Kong superstar Jackie Chan were both nationally and internationally successful . The rush hour films live mainly from the humorous dialogues between Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) and Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan), which primarily deal with cultural differences between the American Carter and the Chinese Lee.
Chris Tucker was a close friend of Michael Jackson . He played a leading role alongside Michael Jackson in his music video You Rock My World (2001). In 2004/05 he testified for his friend in the Michael Jackson trial. Jackie Chan is one of his good friends.
His standard voice actor is Torsten Michaelis .
