Kate Garry Hudson (born April 19, 1979 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress , film producer and singer . In 2000 it was awarded a Golden Globe .

Kate Hudson is the daughter of Bill Hudson and actress Goldie Hawn . Actor Oliver Hudson is her brother, actor and former ice hockey player Wyatt Russell is her half-brother. She grew up with her mother and stepfather Kurt Russell . Her breakthrough came with the film Almost Famous , for which she was awarded a Golden Globe and nominated for an Oscar . The following love comedies Alex & Emma , How do I get rid of him - in 10 days? and love in a roundabout way received rather average reviews, but Kate Hudson was still enthusiastic. Allegedly she was also shortlisted for the female lead in Spider-Man , but she turned it down in favor of a role in The Four Feathers . In 2003, Hudson starred in the social comedy An Affair in Paris on the side of Glenn Close and Naomi Watts . From 2010 to 2014, Matthew Bellamy , the lead singer of the rock band Muse , was her partner. In July 2011, Hudson and Bellamy became parents of a son. She is currently in a relationship with the musician Danny Fujikawa, and a daughter was born in October 2018.

In 2013, Kate Hudson co-founded the US sportswear brand Fabletics . Fabletics was founded by Adam Goldenberg, Don Ressler and Kate Hudson in July 2013 and officially launched on October 1, 2013. Fabletics is a subsidiary of JustFab .

In 2020 Kate Hudson danced with Maddie Ziegler and Leslie Odom Jr. in the music video for "Together" by the Australian singer Sia .
