Reviews

According to the Lexicon of International Films : “A dignified, lightweight romantic comedy whose plot is based on the life of the writer Scott Fitzgerald. The well-humored actors slip into several roles, which is amusing without really causing the spark. "

James Berardinelli criticized the comedy for being a warmed-up "low-end version" of the comedy Harry and Sally . The film's dual structure would be used more efficiently in the movie Obsessive . The chemistry between the main actors is missing. Berardinelli criticized the portrayal of Kate Hudson.
