Sànoe Lake

Sànoe Lake (born May 19, 1979 in Kauaʻi , Hawaii ) is an American actress , surfer and model with Hawaiian, Japanese , Chinese , English , Scottish , Irish and German roots.

life and career

Lake's parents taught her to surf at the age of five. Her Hawaiian name "Sànoe" means "fog of the mountains".

Lake became known for her role as Lena in the surf film Blue Crush (2002). She also acted, for example, in the film drama Rolling (2007) and in the video game adaptation of the first-person shooter Half-Life .

Lake is married to fellow countryman Michael Sterling Eaton.
