Daveigh Chase
Daveigh Chase (* 24 July 1990 as Daveigh Elizabeth Schwallier in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American actress , singer and voice actress .
Life
Chase is the daughter of John Schwallier and Cathy Chase. She started her professional acting career at the age of eight. She had her most important leading roles in Donnie Darko (2001) as Samantha Darko , in The Ring (2002) as Samara Morgan and in the television series Oliver Beene (2003-2004) as Joyce .
Daveigh Chase said in Spirited Away the American translation of (2001) Chihiro and Lilo & Stitch , the original voice of Lilo Pelekai , as well as in the television series Lilo & Stitch (2003-2006). Other films in which Daveigh starred include AI - Artificial Intelligence (2001) as Child Singer and Ratten - They are everywhere! (2002) as Amy Costello .
The film Spirited Away , with its original voice won in 2003 the Oscar in the category Best Animated Feature . At the 2003 MTV Movie Awards she was named Best Villain for her role as Samara Morgan . She starred as Rhonda Volmer on the HBO drama series Big Love , and she starred in the sequel to Donnie Darko .
Daveigh Chase is also active as a singer.
