Seann William Scott (* 3. October 1976 in Cottage Grove , Minnesota as Seann William Scott ) is an American actor .
life and career
Seann William Scott was born the youngest of seven siblings and grew up in his native Cottage Grove, Minnesota, USA. It was clear to him early on that he wanted to become an actor and so he auditioned for a role in the television series Baywatch at the age of 12 , but without success. After graduating from Park High School at Cottage Grove, he moved to Los Angeles, where he was discovered in a talent contest. At first he was on TV and in the music video for Hole In My Soul by Aerosmith to see.
The breakthrough came in 1999 with the role of the party thief Steve Stifler in the hit teen comedy American Pie - Like a hot apple pie . In 2001, 2003 and 2012 three sequels followed, in which Scott slipped again into the role of the troublemaker. After his success, he appeared in three other teen films in 2000: in the horror film Final Destination and the comedies Road Trip and Dude, where is my car? .
In 2001 he starred in Evolution alongside David Duchovny and Julianne Moore . Dwayne Johnson wanted Scott in the 2003 action comedy Welcome to the Jungle . In 2005 he was next to Johnny Knoxville and pop singer Jessica Simpson in the movie adaptation of the television series A Duke rarely seen alone .
In 2011 he had a leading role in Goon - No Film for Pussies , an ice hockey comedy in which he appears with Jay Baruchel and Liev Schreiber . This comedy is a film adaptation of the book Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey .
In May 2018, he was hired for the third season of the Fox series Lethal Weapon as the second leading actor alongside Damon Wayans and successor to Clayne Crawford .
Björn Schalla mostly lends him his German voice .
