Bizarre , also known as Red Head (born July 5, 1976 in Detroit , Michigan ; real name Rufus Arthur  Johnson ) is an American rapper . He celebrated his greatest successes from 2000 as a member of the rap group D12 . The origin of the name Bizarre can be traced back to its childhood. At school he was called by the teachers because of his unusual behavior "Bizarre kid" (English about strange child ). He created his alter ego Red Head in connection with his dyed red hair.

Life

Johnson began his musical career alongside Rah Digga and Eminem in the band The Outsidaz . In 1998 he released his first solo EP under the title Attack Of The Weirdos . With the accompanying single What, What he landed an underground success.

In 2000, Bizarre was heard as a member of the rap group D12 for the first time on the album The Marshall Mathers LP by the rap star Eminem on two songs. D12's first album Devils Night was also produced by Eminem in 2001 . In 2004 the equally successful album D12 World followed . Within the band, Bizarre is known for his extreme lyrics, in which he deals with topics such as rape , drug use , transvestites , bisexuality , urophilia and incest .

Bizarre's debut album was released in June 2005 under the title Hannicap Circus , in which Eminem was responsible for the single Rockstar as producer .

On October 9, 2007, Bizarre's second solo album Blue Cheese 'n' Coney Island was released via Koch Records. The song Fat Boy was released as the first single . This was followed by So Hard in January 2008, which was recorded with Monica Blair together.

At the end of 2008 the mixtape Hate Music was released , on which new songs with Eminem and Obie Trice can be found, and in 2010 the third studio album Friday Night at St. Andrews was released.
