Shit on You (English for: " Scheiß auf dich ", also known as S *** on You ) is a song by the US rap group D12 . The song is the first single from their debut album Devils Night and was released on December 5, 2000. The song is also included on the deluxe edition of Eminem's best-of album Curtain Call: The Hits .

After Eminem's Hook , Swift comes in and compares himself, among other things, with a piranha who lyrically tears up his opponents. Then Bizarre raps from the perspective of an alcoholic who eats hot dogs even though he is a Muslim . He thinks women are only good for cooking, cleaning and blowjobs and brags about murdering John Candy and JonBenét Ramsey . Besides the chorus with two stanzas, Eminem has the largest share of the song. He says that the others drove him crazy and that he does stupid things today than in his youth. He would also shoot women and describes himself as misogynous . Kon Artis and Kuniva also rap about violent fantasies, rape and robbery.

Shit on You was produced by music producer DJ Head in collaboration with Eminem, who acted as co-producer. They used a sample of the song In the Beginning by Dr. Lonnie Smith . The song was recorded at The Lodge and the 54Sound studio in Detroit .

Music video

The music video shot for Shit on You , which is mostly in black and white , was directed by Estevan Oriol .

It shows the D12 members rapping their texts aggressively into the camera in various locations in Detroit . Michigan Central Station , Comerica Park Ballpark , Brewster-Douglass Housing Project, and Fox Theater are among the locations shown . Cutscenes show Eminem disguised as an angry old man with a cane; and Bizarre , who lives as an alcoholic in a shabby house and is visited by Eminem (this time disguised as a homosexual athlete), who encourages him to do sports with a chainsaw. Also proof that does not own Rapvers in the song, can be seen next to his colleagues in the video.

Chart successes

Shit on You entered the German singles charts at number 15 on February 26, 2001, and two weeks later reached the top position at number 8. In total, the song stayed in the top 100 for twelve weeks. In the UK, the song was 10th and was able to stay in the charts for 15 weeks.
