biography

The band was discovered in 2001 during the Epic Records Showcase for New Talent . Their first single Uh Huh , which was released in late 2001, reached platinum status in the United States . The B2K and Pandemonium! received gold and platinum status. The band was also nominated twice for the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards. In 2004 B2K took over the leading roles together with the members of the band IMx in the film Streetstyle ( You Got Served ) and also sang the accompanying soundtrack. Also in 2004, manager Chris Strokes announced the breakup of the band. For 2008 B2K planned a comeback with the single Body UP , but without Omarion , who was able to start a successful solo career in America after leaving the band.
