Strömsholm is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Västmanland County and the historic province of Västmanland .

The place is about eleven kilometers south of Hallstahammar at the mouth of the Kolbäcksån River in the Mälarbucht Galten in the municipality of Hallstahammar . Strömsholm was created in the 17th century in connection with the construction of Strömsholm Castle .
