Kendra Wilkinson
Kendra Leigh Baskett (* 12. June 1985 in San Diego , California as Kendra Leigh Wilkinson ) is an American model . She became known together with Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison as one of the three "official" friends of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and was seen with them in the documentary soap The Girls of the Playboy Mansion .
Life
Kendra Wilkinson was born the eldest daughter of Patti and Eric Wilkinson. She grew up with her younger brother Collin in Clairmont , San Diego. When Wilkinson was four years old, her father left the family. Kendra graduated from Clairemont High School in 2003 and played softball with Clairemont Bobby Sox for six years .
After high school, Wilkinson worked as a dental assistant in San Diego, while also working as a model. However, she quickly gave up her job as a dental assistant to work as a stripper for two years. She met Hugh Hefner at his 78th birthday party in April 2004. There she appeared as one of the " Bodypainting Girls". Hugh Hefner spotted her in one of the many photos at the party and was dying to get to know her. After a few meetings, Wilkinson moved in with Hefner and became one of his "official" friends.
From 2005 she appeared next to Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt as one of the leading actresses in the documentary soap The Girls of the Playboy Mansion (original title: The Girls Next Door ).
In November 2008, Wilkinson and Hefner separated. Wilkinson married American football player Hank Baskett on June 27, 2009 . The two have a son (* 2009) and a daughter (* 2014). The divorce took place in April 2018.
From 2009 to 2011, E! Entertainment Television Wilkinson's own reality show. The format with the title Kendra accompanied the model through her everyday life. A similar format called Kendra on Top has been running since 2012 .
In the December 2010 issue of the US edition of Playboy magazine, Wilkinson was featured on the cover and with a series of photos.
In 2011 she was a participant in the twelfth season of the television show Dancing with the Stars , the American equivalent of Let's Dance .
In 2014, she participated in the 14th season of the British television show I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! part.
