The Trolltunga ( Norwegian for Troll tongue ; Russian Шельфовый Ледник Беллинсгаузена Schelfowy Lednik Bellinsgausena , German 'Bellingshausen glacier tongue' ) is a tongue of ice at the eastern end of the Princess Martha coast of the Queen's East Arctic Land . It is the seaward extension of the Jutulstraumen north of the Fimbul Ice Shelf .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1962.
