Tronchet (comic author)
Didier Vasseur , alias Tronchet (born September 29, 1958 in Béthune ) is a French comic book author. In 1980 he graduated from the École supérieure de journalisme de Lille with a diploma. From 2007 to 2011 he lived in Ecuador .
Over the years Tronchet created several series, the characters of which are mostly caricatures of popular clichés. Black humor and cynicism are common style elements.
Individual volumes in the Raymond Cahlbutt and Jean-Claude Tergal series were awarded an Alph-Art at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême in France in 1993 and 1998.

- Violetta (original violin ), five volumes, of which "five and a half" was published in German, as the last album, which closes the story of the previous one, also contains pages from a sixth album that was never released in France because it was canceled.
