The Trostansfjörður is a fjord on the peninsula of the West Fjords in Iceland .

The fjord is located south of Geirþjófsfjörður and north of Reykjarfjörður in Suðurfirðir , the side fjords of Arnarfjörður . The homonymous farm in the fjord is abandoned. The fjord barely extends four kilometers into the country and is two and a half kilometers wide. In the fjord is the Norðdalur with its forest of rowan trees . On its southwest coast the Bíldudalsvegur runs S63 between Bildudalur and Vestfjarðavegur S60 .
