Troy Duffy

Troy Duffy (born June 8, 1971 in Hartford , Connecticut ) is an American director, actor and musician. His brother is Taylor Duffy .

Life

In the 90s, Duffy moved to Los Angeles to start a music career with his band The Brood . While looking for gigs, he took up a job at a local bar, where he wrote the script for the film The Bloody Path of God during breaks . He was inspired for the script by an incident in the hallway of his apartment: drug dealers took money from a corpse. The second part was released in the USA in 2009 and, unlike its predecessor, was also shown in various cinemas.

The documentary Overnight (2003) by Tony Montana and Mark Brian Smith shows the rise and fall of the filmmaker Troy Duffy.
