Trozza

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Trozza (also Drozza , Drazza , Draoza , Drozzi were called) of the Bavarian origin and high nobility .

They are expressly mentioned in the Lex Baiuvariorum , in which the old popular law of the Baier tribal duchy from 635 onwards, alongside the Huosi , Fagana , Hahiligga , Anniona and the ducal family of the Agilolfingers . In the documents that became common in Bavaria from the 8th century onwards, they are not mentioned in contrast to other of these families, so that it can be assumed that they were no longer of extraordinary importance for the duchy at that time.

The name is translated as "the pushers, the stubborn, the indomitable" or as "the grumpy, the morose", as well as terrifying adjectives such as "horror or devil".
