The Truchseß von Henneberg family is an old Thuringian - Franconian noble family that emerged from the von der Kere family .
origin
The name Truchseß von Henneberg is derived from the court office Truchseß , which the von der Kere family (also: von der Keer) exercised for the Counts of Henneberg . This line of the von der Kere family was named after this office. The Truchseß von Henneberg family was then in the service of the Würzburg monastery . She provided bailiffs and Würzburg canons and was matriculated in the knightly canton of Baunach .

coat of arms
At Siebmacher, the coat of arms is divided horizontally into silver and black. While the bird's claws can be seen in the lower part of the coat of arms, the upper part is followed by the black feathered leg approach, which ends in a bloody red stump. The crest contains a man's torso with black wings in place of arms and a red beak on the face.
