Trumped
Trumped (own spelling Trumped! ) Was a radio show in the United States starring billionaire Donald Trump . It was produced by Premiere Radio Networks (part of Clear Channel Communications ) and could be heard on weekdays from June 15, 2004 to 2008. The program was broadcast at prime time in the morning ("Morning Drive Time " between 6 and 10 am) on more than 400 radio stations across the country.
The entrepreneur usually commented on events from the fields of politics, sports, media and business for between 60 and 90 seconds. According to the self-portrayal of the program, it was about "daily events, pop culture and everything in between, with a generous dose of name dropping and a bombastic ego that only he can manage".
The show was discontinued in 2008; the exact point in time cannot be determined. The journalist Mary Jo DiLonardo, who also did the editorial work for the show as executive producer , states in her résumé that this activity lasted until June 2008.
As part of Trump's application for the US presidential election in 2016 , the broadcast was picked up again in the media, as Trump had repeatedly expressed himself there about women in a way that many consider disrespectful to chauvinistic and regard as a recurring pattern.
