Tryntje Helfferich

Tryntje B. Helfferich (born May 16, 1969 in Alaska ) is an American historian .

Life

Tryntje Helfferich grew up in Ester , Alaska near Mount McKinley . She graduated from Pomona College with a bachelor's degree in history in 1991 . In 1996 she completed her master's degree at the University of New Mexico . She was awarded the Esmé Frost Fellowship in 2001 from the University of California, Santa Barbara , where she received her Ph.D. received. She is currently an Associate Professor at Ohio State University . Thematically, it focuses mainly on European history in the early modern period , in particular the Reformation and the Thirty Years War .
