Tsagaan Chas ( Mongolian Цагаан Хас , White Swastika ) also Dayar Mongol is the name of a Mongolian neo-Nazi organization. According to its own information, it should have around 3000 members; Observers consider this number to be excessive. Alongside Blue Mongolia, it is one of several neo-Nazi groups in Mongolia.

A co-founder of the organization, who calls himself “ Big Brother ”, describes the mission of his movement as follows: “ Adolf Hitler was someone we respect. He taught us how to preserve national identity [...] We do not advocate his extremism and that he started the Second World War . We are against all these murders, but we support his ideology. We advocate nationalism rather than fascism . "

The members of the group sometimes wear typical National Socialist clothing and devotional items ( iron cross , swastika armband) and use the gesture " Sieg Heil ". They justify the use of Nazi symbolism by emphasizing the Asian origin of the swastika . Neo-Nazi slogans sprayed on the walls of houses are increasingly appearing in the capital Ulaanbaatar .

The members of Tsagaan Chas are characterized by their extremely anti- Chinese sentiments and are therefore, among other things, against a marriage between Mongols and Chinese. One member of the group expressed this view as follows: “We must ensure that as a nation our blood stays pure. It's about our independence [...] If we start to mix with the Chinese, they will slowly swallow us up. Mongolian society is not very rich. Strangers come with a lot of money and may start stealing our wives from us. ”The group is accused of promoting violence against couples of different races and others. The United States Department of State is now warning travelers in the region, as there have been increased attacks on couples with different skin colors in recent years.

Since 2013, the group has been trying to increase its public profile as an environmental protection organization in order to fight foreign mine operators in Mongolia.
