Tsarporten ( Norwegian for Zarentor ) is a natural tunnel on the Peter I Island in the Antarctic . It is on the Lazarev coast on the north side of Cape Ingrid .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1987 after the Russian Tsar Peter I (1672–1725), who also gave the island its name.
