Cape Ingrid ( Norwegian Kapp Ingrid Christensen ) is a cape made of dark rock on the Lazarew coast of the Antarctic Peter I Island . The cape separates Norvegia Bay from Sandefjord Cove .
The Norwegian captain Eyvind Tofte discovered and named them in 1927 when the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen financed the Antarctic voyage of Odd I (1926–1927). It is named after Ingrid Christensen, the wife of Tofte's employer.
