Tschingel Pass

The Tschingelpass is a high alpine mountain crossing in the Bernese Alps .

It connects at an altitude of 2774  m above sea level. M. the Kanderfirn in the southwest ( Kandersteg municipality ) with the Tschingelfirn in the northeast ( Lauterbrunnen municipality ).

The first tourist crossing of the Tschingel Pass took place in 1790 by Johann Rudolf Meyer junior from Lauterbrunnen.
