The Tschugunow Glacier ( Russian Ледник Чугунова Lednik Tschugunowa ) is a 24 km long glacier on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies immediately north of the Astachow Glacier and, like it, is one of a series of glaciers that flow from the eastern slopes of the Explorers Range in the Bowers Mountains to Ob 'Bay .
It was mapped using aerial photos taken during a Soviet Antarctic expedition in 1958. It is named after the Soviet atmospheric researcher N. A. Tschugunow, who was killed by falling ice on board the research ship with his fellow expedition M. I. Rochlin during this research trip in January 1958.
