Tsharchen Losel Gyatsho

Tsharchen Losel Gyatsho ( Tib .: tshar chen blo gsal rgya mtsho ; born 1502 ; died 1566 ) was the founder of the Tshar tradition, one of the three sub- schools of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism . He is the founder of the Dar Thrangmochen (Tib .: dar 'phrang mo chen dgon pa ) monastery in the Mangkar Valley in Lhazê County in Tibet .

He is the author of the work bShes-gnyen dam-pa bsten-par byed-pa'i thabs shlo-ka lnga-bcu-pa'i 'grel-ba (“Methods for building a relationship with a real spiritual mentor: a commentary to [Ashvaghoshas] 'Fifty Verses [about the Guru]' ”).
