Lhazê

Lhazê ( Tibetan : ལྷ་ རྩེ་ རྫོང་ , transcription after Wylie : lha rtse rdzong , also Lhatse Dzong ; Chinese  拉孜 县 , Pinyin Lāzī Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Xigazê in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . In 1999 it had 47,252 inhabitants.

Administrative structure

At the community level, the district consists of two large communities and nine communities . These are (pinyin / chin.):

  • Quxia Municipality 曲 下 镇
  • Large municipality of Lazi拉孜 镇

The Chamuqên grave groups from the time of the Tibetan monarchy and the Tagten Phüntshog Ling monastery, which formerly belonged to the Jonang School and was founded in the 14th century, have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 .
