Tsuguoki Fujinuma

Tsuguoki (Aki) Fujinuma is a Japanese economist and auditor .

Life

He studied economics at Chūō University in Tokyo until 1968 . He was chairman and president of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants . He was Vice President from 1998 to 2000 and President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) from 2000 to 2002 . He was also on the founding committee of the International Accounting Standards Committee . Until 2007 he was also a partner at Ernst & Young ShinNihon and a member of the supervisory board of Showa Ota . Since 2007 he has been on the board of directors of the Tokyo Stock Exchange . In 2008 he became a professor at Chūō University in Tokyo.
