Tsuko Nakamura ( Japanese 中 村 士 Nakamura Tsuko ; * 1943 ) is a Japanese astronomer .

He studied celestial mechanics at the Astronomical Faculty of Tokyo University . He works at the Kiso Observatory , where he discovered a total of three asteroids on December 5, 1988.

The asteroid (6599) Tsuko was named after him.

Risk of confusion

Since, for example, only the surname is often mentioned in scientific publications, there is a risk of confusion with the Japanese astronomer Akimasa Nakamura and the amateur astronomers Hiroshi Nakamura and Yuji Nakamura .
