Tsuyoshi Ōtsuki ( Japanese 大 槻 毅 Ōtsuki Tsuyoshi ; born December 1, 1972 in Sendai ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Ōtsuki learned to play soccer on the school team at Sendai Daini High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . His first contract was signed with Sony Sendai FC .

In 2000, Ōtsuki became Mito HollyHock's assistant coach . In 2003 he moved to Omiya Ardija . In 2004 he moved to Urawa Reds . In 2011 he moved to Vegalta Sendai . In 2011 he returned to Urawa Reds. In April 2018, Ōtsuki became Caretaker Manager. In May 2019, Ōtsuki became head coach. In 2019 he reached the final of the AFC Champions League .
