The Tuchmacher Museum in Bramsche (official spelling: Tuchmacher Museum Bramsche ) was opened in 1997. It deals with the production of woolen cloth in particular and is located in the buildings of the Bramsch Cloth Makers' Guild, which ceased operations in 1972. The center of the museum is the demonstration of historical machines for spinning and weaving. The entire process of cloth making, from combing the wool and dyeing to spinning and weaving is demonstrated in the museum. The spinning machine with around 100 spindles and the jacquard loom are particularly impressive . The Cloth Makers Museum has been part of the Route of Industrial Culture in the northwest since 2010 .

Parts of the five- part TV series Sturmzeit ( ZDF 1999, based on the novel by Charlotte Link of the same name ) were shot in one of the engine rooms.

In addition, concerts and exhibitions on art or historical or technical topics are also regularly held in the premises of the museum.

In 2019 the museum was awarded the museum seal of approval from the Museumsverband Niedersachsen und Bremen eV.
