Tucker is a small impact crater on the eastern edge of the front of the moon to the east of the Mare Smythii plain , southeast of Warner crater and southwest of Lebesgue . The crater is bowl-shaped and hardly eroded.
The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1979 after the American astronomer Richard Hawley Tucker .
