Tucker Smith
Tucker Smith (born April 24, 1936 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , † December 22, 1988 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor and dancer .
Life
Tucker trained as an actor and dancer in the United States. He has worked in various roles, including the role of gang member Ice - who becomes leader of the Jets after the death of Russ Tamblyn's character and sings the song Cool - in the classic film West Side Story . He mainly worked as a dancer and actor in theater productions. In the 1970s he opened the Tucker's Turf bar in Hollywood . He died of cancer in 1988. He also had three sisters. From 1960 to 1961 he was in a relationship with actress Carol Christensen.
