Tufan Miñnullin
Miñnullin Tufan Gabdulla Uli, usually only Tufan Miñnullin ( Tatar Туфан Габдулла улы Миңнуллин , Russian Туфан Абдуллович Миннулин , Tufan Abdullowitsch Minnulin * 25. August 1935 in Bolshoye Meretkosino in Rajon Kamsko-Ustjinskiij ; † 2. May 2012 in Kazan ), was a Russian - Tatar author and screenwriter. He was a member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan since 1990 .
Tufan Miñnullin graduated from the Shchepkin -Theaterschule in Moscow and worked as an actor at Menzelinsk Theater. From 1962 he had success as a writer for plays.
From 1984 to 1989 he headed the board of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan; since 1996 he has been a member of the PEN Club.
