The Tugela Falls are a waterfall in the Royal Natal National Park near the Drakensberg Mountains in the KwaZulu-Natal Province , South Africa . The five-tier waterfall fed by the Tugela River reaches a height of 948 meters. This height is only surpassed by the Angel Salto in Venezuela. The source of the Tugela is located on Mont-Aux-Sources , a few kilometers away.
