Tulie is an island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .
geography
Tulie is located in one of the fjord-like bays of the main island Vavaʻu between the island of Koloa and the town of Utui in the west, as well as between the headlands of Houma (Faleono, N) and ʻOkoa (S). It is connected to the large neighboring island by mangrove swamps.
To the south lies the island of Kiato in the bay, along with other unnamed motu .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Vavaʻu group, Tulie is occasionally hit by cyclones .
