The Tupi Football Club is a Brazilian football club from Juiz de Fora in the state of Minas Gerais . He plays in the season 2018 in the third-highest Brazilian league, the Série C .

history

The club played only a subordinate role for most of its existence. In the state championship of Minas Gerais he has alternated between the first and second class several times. Only since 2002 has he established himself permanently in the first state league. He has won the provincial championship five times and the state cup once.

In the national championship of Brazil , the club has also been represented as an elevator team in the lower leagues since 2007 . In 2011, the Série D finished first in the table. With third place in Série C 2015, the club was promoted to Série B for the first time.
