Tuquan

Location of Tuquan in the Hinggan Bund

Tuquan ( Chinese 突泉县 , Pinyin Tūquán Xiàn ; Mongolian ᠲᠦᠴᠢᠤᠸᠠᠨ ᠰᠢᠶᠠᠨ Tüčiuvan siyan ) is a district of the Hinggan League in the east of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region ofthe People's Republic of China . In the east it borders on Jilin Province. It has an area of 4,800 km² and approx. 310,000 inhabitants (2004).

Administrative structure

At the community level, Tuquan is composed of six large communities , three communities and a state farm. These are:

Tuquan Municipality (突泉镇), capital, seat of the county government;

Greater community Baoshi (宝石镇);

Dong Durulj Municipality (东杜尔基镇);

Greater community Liuhu (六户镇);

Greater community Shuiquan (水泉镇);

Greater community Yong'an (永安镇);

Jiulong Township (九龙乡);

Taiping Township (太平乡);

Xuetian Township (学田乡);

Dong Durulj State Farm (东杜尔基国营农场);
