Propeller with a nacelle ( maxximum )

A propeller is a type of amusement ride in which a long arm rotates freely around a horizontal axis. Depending on the design, one or two free-swinging passenger gondolas hang at its end. Depending on the device, these gondolas reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour and a height of up to 60 meters above ground.

In propellers with two gondolas, one of the gondolas stops at the highest point between journeys, so that the passengers of the other gondola can get on and off at the lower end of the rotating arm. A propeller offers a very fast ride. A disadvantage is its low passenger capacity, which can result in long waiting times, especially at peak times, and which limits sales.
