The Turret Nunatak (English for wall tower- Nunatak ) is an elongated and 1960 m high nunatak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains , west of the Cobham Range, rises in the lower section of the Lucy Glacier .
The northern group of a 1961-1962 New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition campaign mapped and named him. It is named after the tower-like cliffs on the south side of the Nunatak.
