Tuukka is a male given name , which is mainly given in Finland . There are two different theories about the origin: On the one hand, Tuukka could be the Finnish form of Ture ; on the other hand, a connection to Toke , the diminutive of Thorkild , seems likely. Both variants have their origin in the Nordic god of thunder, Thor .
