The Tvarditsa Rocks (English; Bulgarian скали Твърдица skali Twardiza ) are a group of cliffs in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . Off the north coast of Greenwich Island , they are 1.9 km northeast of Ongley Island , 1.3 km southwest of Stoker Island and 2.6 km west of Sierra Island .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the town of Twarditsa in southeastern Bulgaria .
