Twilight Force is a Swedish power metal - band from Falun , which was founded in the 2011th The musical style of the group is based on the epic Power Metal of the late 1990s and combines heroic melodies with acoustic instruments such as the lute and harpsichord. A special feature of the band is that all band members embody a role-play figure they invented themselves .

Career

In 2014 they released their first album, Tales of Ancient Prophecies, on Black Lodge Records . The album tells the story of a group of warriors, the Knights of Twilight's Might, who set out with the help of a mighty dragon to free their land from the hands of a malevolent lord. To promote their album, the band performed together with Freedom Call as support for Sonata Arctica in many cities in Europe.

Her second studio album, Heroes of Mighty Magic , was released on August 26, 2016 by Nuclear Blast . It was able to place itself in the German album charts and the Swiss hit parade .

In early October 2017, the band announced that singer Chrileon was leaving the band. For the upcoming tour with DragonForce was Tommy Johansson ( Sabaton , ReinXeed ) be required. On June 6, 2018, the band announced that Alessandro Conti ( Luca Turilli's Rhapsody , Trick or Treat) would succeed Chrileon. In August 2019, the album Dawn of the Dragonstar was also released .
